Get answers to common questions about Back Facial.
A Back Facial at EverYoung Spa includes a deep cleanse, steam-assisted scrub, gentle extractions when needed, a detoxifying mask, and a nourishing moisturizing massage with essential oils. The esthetician customizes products and steps for your skin type and concerns.
Most Back Facial sessions last between 45 and 75 minutes, depending on skin condition and required extractions. Typical appointments run about 60 minutes to allow time for steaming, mask application, extractions if necessary, and a relaxing finishing massage.
Yes. Back Facials can be adapted for acne-prone or sensitive skin using gentle exfoliants, soothing masks and cautious extractions. Always disclose sensitivities or medications so we can select appropriate products and minimize irritation during the treatment.
Extractions may cause brief discomfort and temporary redness, but when performed by trained estheticians they minimize scarring and infection risk. We use sterile techniques and aftercare to soothe skin; more complex cases may be referred to a dermatologist.
For maintenance, schedule a Back Facial every four to six weeks. If managing active breakouts, an initial series spaced two to four weeks apart may be recommended, combined with at-home care to achieve clearer, longer-lasting results.
Aftercare includes avoiding heavy sweating, hot tubs and direct sun for 24–48 hours, using gentle cleansers and SPF, keeping the area moisturized, and following any recommended home products or routines from your esthetician.
