Results vary with hair growth but typically remain smooth for three to six weeks. Hair grows back finer and sparser over time. Factors like hormones, hair type, and aftercare influence longevity; regular waxing can lengthen intervals between appointments.
Some sensitivity is normal, especially first-time clients, but our technicians use warm wax, careful technique, and soothing pre/post-treatments to minimize pain. Short sessions, breath techniques, and numbing products on request help reduce discomfort significantly.
Ensure hair is at least one-quarter inch long, exfoliate gently 24 to 48 hours before, avoid heavy creams or oils on the day, and tell us about medications or skin sensitivities so we can provide safe, effective waxing.
We cannot wax sunburned, irritated, or open skin. For sensitive skin, we perform a patch test and use gentler wax and techniques. Please inform us about recent sun exposure, treatments, or allergies so we can recommend the safest approach.
Avoid hot baths, saunas, heavy sweating, and direct sun for 24 to 48 hours. Apply soothing, alcohol-free lotion, exfoliate gently after 48 hours, and avoid tight clothing to prevent irritation and ingrown hairs.
Waxing can sometimes lead to ingrown hairs, but proper exfoliation, moisturization, and professional technique reduce risk. We provide aftercare tips and recommend gentle exfoliation and products to keep follicles clear and minimize ingrown hair formation.
