Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Half Leg Wax.

A Half Leg Wax usually takes about twenty to thirty minutes, including consultation and preparation. Timing varies with hair thickness and client comfort. Please arrive with the recommended hair length to ensure a quick, effective treatment.

Exfoliate gently 48 hours before to remove dead skin and lift hairs, and avoid applying creams or oils on the day of your appointment. Ensure hair is about a quarter inch long and avoid sun exposure or self-tanners beforehand.

Some discomfort is normal, especially on first visits, but our trained therapists use swift technique and soothing products to minimize pain. Avoid caffeine before your appointment, consider an over-the-counter pain reliever if suitable, and breathe deeply during treatment.

Most clients experience three to six weeks of smoothness before regrowth appears, depending on individual hair cycle and growth rate. Regular waxing can gradually reduce hair thickness; maintenance every four to six weeks is recommended for consistent results.

We advise avoiding waxing on sunburned or actively irritated skin until fully healed. For sensitive skin, inform your therapist—patch testing and gentler formulations can be used. Also disclose recent retinoid use or medical conditions to prevent complications.

Avoid hot baths, saunas, swimming, and intense exercise for 24 to 48 hours. Keep the area clean and apply a calming, fragrance-free moisturizer or aloe gel. Begin gentle exfoliation after 48 to 72 hours to prevent ingrown hairs.
