Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Lash Tint With Lamination.

Yes. When performed correctly we perform an allergy patch test and use gentle dyes suited for delicate eyes. Remove contact lenses before treatment and tell your technician about sensitivities. Rare irritation is possible; we’ll tailor products and provide aftercare to minimize risk.

Most clients enjoy lift and color for six to eight weeks, depending on natural lash growth and aftercare. Touch-ups are recommended every 6–8 weeks to maintain curl and pigment, especially for those who use oil-based products or frequent exfoliation.

You can use mascara, but we recommend waiting 24–48 hours so lamination sets fully. Choose water-based mascara to protect the lift and avoid waterproof formulas that require oil-based removers. Many clients skip mascara altogether due to the enhanced tint and lift.

Avoid waterproof mascara, lash serums, and oil-based eye products 24–48 hours before your appointment. Arrive with clean, makeup-free eyes and remove contact lenses. Let us know about medications, recent lash treatments, or sensitivities during booking for safe customization.

Minor redness or temporary irritation can occur, especially with sensitive skin. Serious reactions are rare when technicians follow protocols and patch tests are done. Discontinue use of harsh products, consult us if irritation persists, and seek medical advice for severe reactions.

Avoid water, steam, saunas, and eye makeup for the first 24–48 hours to allow the lamination to fully set. After that, normal washing is fine; use gentle, oil-free cleansers and avoid rubbing or using oil-based products to extend results.
